300 CLUB HISTORY
April 2014 - A few individuals who continued to be perplexed by the status of inferior athletic programs and support (not taking away from the the effort of athletes), formed the 300 Club.
September 2014 - The 300 Club donated weight room equipment to the Savannah State Athletics Department.
September 2014 - The 300 Club donated six flat screen televisions to the Savannah State Athletics Department for use in the SSU coaches' offices.
WHY WE SUPPORT
The goal of the Athletics Department of Savannah State University is to be an entirely self-supporting organization that receives no state funds, university subsidies or student fees to operate.

The FLH 300 Club embodies the spirit of the 300 Spartans who defeated an army of more than 100,000 during the historic Battle of Thermopylae. We are an army of patriotic Tigers prepared to defend our University. We believe our student athletes are true ambassadors for Savannah State University and they deserve our unqualified support.
